Broaster Introduces Turnkey Barbecue Program

Rock County Smokehouse uses real wood to smoke meats like ribs, chicken, pulled pork or brisket in a third of the time of a conventional smoker.

Broaster Company has launched its Rock County Smokehouse program, which enables operators to quickly and conveniently serve freshly smoked barbecue.

Beloit, Wis.,-based Broaster has been manufacturing high-quality Pressure Fryers, a licensed branded program, delicious foods and specialty foodservice equipment to the industry for over 65 years. Broaster markets its products through a responsive global network of authorized distributors. The company also markets and licenses its Genuine Broaster Chicken product and the Broaster Express food program worldwide to a wide range of foodservice operations.

Rock County Smokehouse uses real wood to smoke meats like ribs, chicken, pulled pork or brisket in a third of the time of a conventional smoker. With no skilled labor necessary, the unique Smokaroma pressure smoker cooks and browns meat to the proper temperature resulting in ready-to-serve authentic smoky barbecue.

“We understand that operators are seeking ways to drive customers to their restaurants with trending dishes,” said Broaster Company President and CEO Jay Cipra. “The Rock County Smokehouse program offers the opportunity to serve impressive smoked food in a convenient format that people will crave.”

With the use of real hickory or mesquite wood chips, the Smokaroma pressure smoker does not require a liquid solution or artificial smoke to generate authentic barbecue dishes. Moisture from the meat creates pressure during the cooking process and drives the smoke throughout the meat for impressive flavor.

The all-inclusive Rock County Smokehouse can be incorporated into a variety of operations to elevate menu options that will increase customer traffic. The turnkey operation includes everything from the equipment, sauces and rubs to the advertising support necessary to market the product.

With more than 65 years of experience and thousands of licensed operators worldwide, Broaster Company is the industry leader in branded food concepts. From Genuine Broaster Chicken to the fun and convenience of Broaster Express — and now the flare of Rock County Smokehouse — these all-inclusive programs strengthen operators’ businesses and build their profits.

#FAQFryDay: What is the difference between Broasted and fried chicken?

The #ChickenExperts know!
👇
Broasted chicken is battered and cooked in oil as well, but deep fried in a pressure cooker. It instantly locks in all the juices by immersion process cooking all sides of meat and once. One of the main differences between baking and frying is the heat source used to cook the food.

Broasted chicken is a trademark of the Broaster Company because we were the first to the bring pressure-fried, proprietary marinated chicken to the market and trademark the result! If it sounds familiar, KFC claims a secret recipe for pressure-fried chicken as well, but cannot call it Broasted chicken because they don’t own the trademark. The Broaster Company does partner with operators to serve Broasted chicken by following our program, using Broaster pressure fryers, and Broaster proprietary ingredients. #BetterBeBroaster #GenuineBroasterChicken #RestaurantIndustry
